*Did you know that there are regulations for marine toilets? Yes, you are reading correctly. Since 2008, all boats built must be equipped with a black water tank. All materials coming out of the toilet belong in this tank. But there are other types of contaminated water in the boating sector, the so-called gray water. This group includes water from the washbasins, which are usually contaminated with oil and/or food residue from washing up. In our boats, the gray water also goes into the collection tank and can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
